Monthly Wrap-up/TBR

November Upcoming Book Releases

Another month, new books to be excited about! Here’s a rundown of some exciting books coming out this month:

November 5th:

The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern
The Toll by Neal Shusterman
The Guinevere Deception by Kiersten White
Winterwood by Shea Ernshaw
Call Down The Hawk by Maggie Stiefvater
Across A Broken Shore by Amy Trueblood
Girls of Storm and Shadow by Natasha Ngan
The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell

Wow the 5th was a busy day for YA releases! I’m finally planning on reading Scythe this month, so if I like it I’ll be able to grab the entire series right away! The Starless Sea I’m unsure about and will probably wait awhile to see reviews (I wasn’t the biggest fan of The Night Circus), and Call Down the Hawk and Girls of Storm and Shadow are no’s for me. I haven’t read any of Stiefvater’s books and frankly, they don’t interest me. Girls of Paper and Fire was okay, but not a series I feel like investing in. Maybe a few years from now I’ll pick up the paperback copy. The rest of these I’m excited for! (Across a Broken Shore looks PHENOMENAL)

November 12th:

Coral by Sara Ella
All-American Muslim Girl by Nadine Jolie Courtney

I was lucky enough to read an ARC of Coral, and you should definitely grab it when it hits shelves next week. All-American Muslim Girl sounds like such an amazing, powerful, contemporary novel and I cannot wait to get my hands on it!

November 19th:

The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black
Blood Heir by Amélie Wen Zhao

I’m not a Folk of The Air fan even though I’ve read CP and WK….there’s just so many problems. Did that stop me from ordering the QON OwlCrate box? No it didn’t…I’m curious how the story ends but I’ll probably get around to reading it next year. As for Blood Heir…after the drama and initial cancellation this book is finally hitting shelves. The plot is one that doesn’t interest me too much, but I know a lot people are really excited for this one!

November 26th:

The Rise of Magicks by Nora Roberts
Starsight by Brandon Sanderson

I started listening to Year One on audio after the whole Adeyemi/Roberts drama and was pleasantly surprised. Robert’s fantasy trilogy wraps up this month and i cant wait to hear what happens next! Sanderson’s Skyward books continues with Starsight, and although I haven’t picked up Skward yet, i’m sure I will be buying this one eventually!

What new releases this month are you most excited for? There’s so many good ones out this month! Let me know in the comments.
